im tired of having to design for phone screens (╥﹏╥)
i open figma, make everything cute on the ultrawide monitor, get all proud of the layout. then i remember it has to work on a 6 inch screen. it doesnt fit!!
and responsiveness, ugh. i hate coding responsiveness. media query here, media query there, breakpoint for everything. the screen breaks on a phone, fix it, then it breaks on a tablet in landscape, fix again, then it breaks on pc again. its a vicious cycle of pure suffering ( ˘•ω•˘ )
the elements that look gorgeous and spacious on the monitor get squished and sad on mobile. then u have to hide stuff, add a hamburger menu (i hate hamburger menus), shrink the font until its unreadable. everything gets worse!!
its not just me being lazy. the visual really is way better on pc u.u theres space, theres architecture, theres elegance. on mobile its just plywood on top of plywood until nothing of the original design is left.
i just wish everyone used pc again. or at least tablet~
tablet still lets u do pretty stuff, the screen is big enough to breathe. but phone... its squeeze until it explodes.
lets start a movement. come back pc!! come back big monitor!! leave phones just for messages and selfies. the internet would be so much prettier if no one accessed it by mobile ugh (っ˘̩╭╮˘̩)っ
or phone browsers could just lie about resolution and pretend theyre desktop. would help me a lot. ur welcome for the genius idea~
